KLP

Design as a marketing device

New insurance legislation that came into effect at the start of 2008 gave mutual insurer KLP (Kommunenes Landspensjonskasse) the opportunity to market its services to a significantly wider group of potential customers. Design when used as a marketing device isn’t only about creating a recognizable logo to identify the client – it’s also about creating increased demand and sympathy in the market.
With its new visual profile, this slightly grey and anonymous institution has been able to reposition itself as a highly professional and heavyweight actor in the financial sector.
